Today Zaylee performed at the Festival of Tree's. I missed her last performance because I was working. So this was the first time I saw her on stage. I was pretty excited and not sure how she would do. I was thinking she might need encouragement. I expected she'd be a bit shy in front of the crowd. Oh boy was I wrong! I was looking down at my camera and heard the crowd laughing and aww'ing (is aww'ing a word?). I looked up to see that the girls had walked out on stage and Zaylee Sue had walked to the edge and was blowing kisses to everyone! She is so adorable! She twirled and blew kisses and nuzzled her chin into her shoulder for the crowd (who was eating it up). It was adorable and I hope someone caught it on video for me. Her dance was pretty short and I did get a photo or two but nothing special. I was crammed to the opposite side of the stage and she ended up dancing on the other end. It was so fun seeing her perform. I'm glad she doesn't have stage fright and I'm very proud at how well she does in dance. She only practiced this particular dance one time yet she remembered every move! She was super excited to see that Aunt Tiffy, cousin Avriel, my good friend Autumn and her Grammie had come to watch her. Thank you so much for coming. It's so nice to have supportive friends and family! It means a lot to Zaylee Sue and we both appreciate you coming today! Zaylee takes her dancing pretty seriously for a four year old. She practiced at home and counted down the days until her performance. She told me afterwards that "It was a blast doing the twirls and kisses". She also said that she knows she is "the prettiest girl in the world". I have to say I agree, I love this girl and couldn't be more proud.
